Tangy
Tangy Design was my side business for hand-painted watercolor cell phone accessories. The designs are uniquely fruit-themed, and mix elements of watercolor and graphic design. The cases themselves are thin and lightweight to keep the focus on the designs of the cases. The project consists of logo designs, brand identity, packaging design, and product design.
I had been curious about the path of an entrepreneur, so I embarked on a journey to start my own small business. Getting a business license, filing a DBA, searching for vendors, researching shipping methods, doing market research, and filing taxes were all new to me. The biggest struggle for me and my business was marketing, juggling costs and different ad options such as on Facebook or Instagram marketing.
I designed everything for the business and it was definitely very rewarding. Tangy has been a tremendous learning experience and has opened my eyes to what it means to be an entrepreneur.
